SLAVICSKY, PATRICIA (Eger) “Pat”, 79, St. Benedict, went home to meet Our Lord Jesus, on May 7, 2020, surrounded by her family who lovingly said their final goodbye. Born June 24, 1940, in Lilly, the daughter of Joseph and Izora “Dolly” (McMullen) Eger. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Eugene, Clair and Gary; and sister, Joann Smith. Survived by loving husband, Joseph Slavicsky; sons, Alan, St. Benedict and Shawn, Northern Cambria; sisters, Helen Osborne, Lilly; Judy (Jeff) Flynn, Lake of the Woods, VA; brothers, Roger (Pam), Needmore, PA and Alfred, Gallitzin. Pat was a graduate of Cresson Joint High School. Formerly employed by US Bank in Loretto. She later moved to Virginia and worked 26 years for the US Department of Navy, Washington, DC. Upon retirement in 2014, she returned to St. Benedict to be closer to family. She enjoyed spending time attending flea markets and attending gun raffles with her sons and their friends. Her joyful manner and many conversations with family and friends will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to meet her. At her request, services will be private. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
