Patrick B. Stolz

STOLZ, PATRICK B., 88, Nicktown, passed away April 7, 2023.  Born June 25, 1934, in East Carroll Twp., the last surviving member of the Blair and Ruth (Farabaugh) Stolz family.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mary Ruth Weakland, Margaret Snyder and Erma Burley; and brother, Robert Stolz.  Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Hilda (Kirsch) Stolz; son, David Stolz, Nicktown; grandsons, Louis (Heidi), Joseph (Allie), and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Hazel and Jace.  Also survived by sister-in-law, Donna Stolz, Ebensburg.  US Army Veteran.  Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.  Pat retired after working for many years for Agway in the Farm Services Industry and as a part-time farmer working his own family farm.  Always concerned about the environment and land, he served on the Cambria County Conservation District Board and the Tea Kettle Run Water Authority where he was a former operator.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown.  Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB, PhD, celebrant.  Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery. Military honors by local veterans' organizations.
