Paul Joseph Krug

KRUG, PAUL JOSEPH, 80, Cherry Tree, passed away December 1, 2022, at Maybrook Hills, Altoona.  Born May 26, 1942, in Spangler, the son of Reed and Kathleen (Pfeister) Krug.  Preceded in death by parents; brother, Francis Krug; and sister, Mary Kay Smarsh.  Survived by son, Jamie Krug, Colver; brothers, Delvin (Janet) Krug, York; Edward (Jean) Krug, Cherry Tree; James (Eleanor) Krug, South Fork; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Paul was the Owner/Operator of K & K Electronics and was employed by the Association for the Blind.   Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Paul was a Ham Radio Operator and member of Horseshoe Amateur Radio Club and Cambria County Radio Club with the call sign W3PLM.  He had many friends in the Ham Radio Community.  No public viewing at Paul’s request.  Family and Friends are invited to a Funeral Mass which will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 5, 2022, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Fr. Mark Groeger officiating.  Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
