Peter D. Abromovich

ABROMOVICH, PETER D., 60, Cherry Tree, passed away suddenly November 17, 2023.  Born October 8, 1963, in Spangler, the son of Peter and Beatrice (Stewart) Abromovich.  Preceded in death by parent and identical twin brother, Paul D. Abromovich.  Survived by sisters, Shirley (Rich) Riva, Hastings; Carol (Tony) Barczak, Cherry Tree; Darlene (Daniel) Rorabaugh, Mahaffey; Paulette Abromovich, Johnstown; Linda Shilling, Northern Cambria; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Pete was a 1982 graduate of Northern Cambria High School.  He was an avid golfer, loved bowling, playing pool, cards, and lottery scratch tickets.  He was passionate about motorcycle racing and was most proud of his Travis Pastrana signed jersey.  He was a Pittsburgh Steeler enthusiast and never missed watching them play. He enjoyed working alongside veterinarian Dr. Wise training horses in the Troutville area.  Pete was one of the friendliest men you could meet, he loved talking with people and offered everyone his genuine smile.  He will be deeply missed.  Family and friends will be received from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria, where a service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday.  Interment, Rowley Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.  http://www.heart.org
