Peter John Bogel

BOGEL, PETER JOHN, 82, Hastings, passed away December 27, 2025.  Born October 31, 1943, in Spangler, the son of Peter and Margaret (Mirolack) Bogel.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Rose Marie Benko, Florence Phillips, and Nancy Stavish.  Survived by Margaret (George) Devlin, Beaver Falls; brother, Paul Bogel, Northern Cambria; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Retired steelworker from Bethlehem Steel.  Member of Hastings Hunting Club in Westline, PA; Hastings Fire Club; Hasting VFW Post 1586; and Barnesboro American Legion Post 508.  Proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  Pete enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Family and friends will be received at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Hastings on Friday, January 2, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Father Thaddeus Rettger O.S.B., celebrant.  Military honors held by local organization.  Interment, St. Bernard Cemetery.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria handling arrangements.
