Raymond J. Wilkie Sr.

WILKIE, RAYMOND JAY SR., 64, Northern Cambria, passed away May 16, 2023, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born October 9, 1958, in Colver, the son of Andrew and Mary (Luther) Wilkie.  Preceded in death by parents; infant sister, Mary; brothers, Dennis, Jimmy , Daniel, David, Leo, and Joe Wilkie, sister, Rose Molitsky; and father-in-law, Tony Salvia.  Survived by loving wife of 44 years, Antoinette (Salvia) Wilkie; sons, Nicholas J. Wilkie and Raymond J. Wilkie Jr., both of Northern Cambria, and five grandchildren.  Brother of Andrew (Dawn) Wilkie, Duncan (Evelyn) Wilkie, Jean (Albert) Grata, John Wilkie and Ronald Wilkie.  Also survived by sister-in-law, Elaine Wilkie; mother-in-law, Beatrice Salvia, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Ray retired as a Foreman for PennDOT with more than 30 years of service.  He chose to remain active in his retirement and became a driver for Med-Van Transport where he enjoyed talking to his many riders.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, cooking and making wine.  Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.
