Regis H. Bechel

BECHEL, REGIS H., 81, Cherry Tree, passed away December 17, 2024.  Born December 23, 1942, in Barr Twp., the son of Henry and Mamie (Brown) Bechel.  Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Sheila (Johnson) Bechel, who died in 2012; and sister, Jane Knarr.  Survived by daughters, Dolly Jane Miles, Cherry Tree; Dawn Marie Moslak, Indiana; Danzay Bechel, Texas; 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by sister, Eleanor Schrift, Summerhill.  Regis proudly served one tour in the US Navy as a See-Bee during the Vietnam War earning the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Medal. He then rejoined and served two tours in the Army, attaining rank of Sgt First Class before retiring after 22 years.  Honoring his wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambrian in charge of arrangements.
