SPRENGER, RHONDA (Cann), 52, Indiana, passed away January 29, 2024. Born April 20, 1971, in Spangler, the daughter of Edward and Kathy (Keith) Cann. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, Kathy, of Cherry Tree; loving husband of 28 years, Karl Sprenger; daughter, Jacqueline Sprenger, Pittsburgh; and son, Keith Sprenger, Indiana; siblings, Tonya Cann, Cherry Tree; Chance (Dr. Bethany) Cann, Hastings; nieces, Natalya and Sophia. Also survived by mother-in-law, Janet Johnson, Indiana. Rhonda was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in counseling. Employed by Cambria Heights School District for 24 years as a teacher and Guidance Counselor. She loved her career and was dedicated to the students at C.H. Rhonda enjoyed traveling with trips to Ocean City being a favorite destination. Her international travels took her to Europe, and Crete became her most stress-free trip. Her free time at home was spent flower gardening in her front yard or playing with her cats Mikasa and Rose. Above all, her family was her greatest joy and spending time as a wife and mother meant the most to her. Family and friends will be received from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 2. Rev. J. Patrick Lenox officiating. Committal, McDowell Cemetery.
