PRINCE, RICHARD F., 84, Altoona, passes away June 2, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born April 27, 1941, in Clearfield, the son of the late Thomas and Hazel (Rososky) Prince. Survived by loving daughter, Jennifer Young, wife of David, Altoona; sister, Susan Good, Myrtle Beach; and granddaughters, Alexa Young and Ashleigh (Dylan) Greer. Richard was a retired police officer with the Altoona Police Department and a life member of the F.O.P. and N.R.A. He was also a member of the Heidleburg Club and Buccinese Club. He enjoyed shooting, reading, traveling, and watching Charlie Chan movies. Above all, he adored his beloved dogs, Oakley and Lilly. A devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend, Richard will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Honoring his request there will be no visitation or services.
