Robert D. Bradford

BRADFORD, ROBERT D.  64, Watkins, passed away January 13, 2024, at home.  Born December 27, 1959, in Spangler, the son of Richard and Edith (Miller) Bradford.  Preceded in death by parents; infant sister, Mary Jean; and sister-in-law, Barbara Bradford.  Survived by loving wife of 37 years, Barbara (Barrett) Bradford; children, Chris (Kim) Barrett, Northern Cambria; Robert Bradford, Bakerton; Jessica Bradford, Northern Cambria; Michael (Hanna) Bradford, Watkins; and grandsons, Christopher, Anthony, Nicholas, and Alex.  Brother of Richard, Daniel, and Ken Bradford, all of Northern Cambria.   Employed as a driver for Himmel Trucking for 35 years.  Bob was proud of the local area and served the community as a Life member of Spangler Fire Company and President of the Spangler Legacy Committee.  He had a passionate interest in trains and enjoyed traveling to different areas to watch them.  He was most proud of his '57 Chevy.  Above all he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and he centered his life around his family.  Family and friends will be received from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Tim Dietrich officiating.   Committal, St. Patrick Cemetery.
