Robert A. McDonald

McDONALD, ROBERT A., 82, Carlisle, native of Carrolltown, passed away June 13, 2024, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.  Born July 29, 1941, in Carrolltown, the son of Mahlon and Bertha (Lute) McDonald.  Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Elsie (Ritchie) McDonald, who died in 1995; and brothers, William and Arthur McDonald.  Survived by children, Larry McDonald, Carlisle; Lori McDonald, Carlisle; Leslie (Melinda) McDonald, Dillsburg; and two grandchildren.  Also survived by sister-in-law, Drucy McDonald, Northern Cambria.  Bob was employed as a bus driver and shared his faith with others as a Pastor for more than 20 years. Family and friends will be received from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Military Honors will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. with services by Pastor Fred Catchpole to follow, Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Interment McDowell Cemetery.
