Ronald J. Burkhart

Burkhart, Ronald J., 71, Northern Cambria, passed away May 17, 2025, at HAIDA Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  Born June 22, 1953, in Spangler, the son of Wilfred H. and Catherine (Litzinger) Burkhart.  Preceded in death by parents; siblings, Wilfred Burkhart, Larry Saltzgiver, and Gertrude Plouse.  Survived by sisters, Mary Ann (Leonard) Morgan, Patton; Rose (Ken) Hobbs, Elmora; and brother, Joseph (Margaret) Burkhart, St. Boniface.  Ron enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.  He did many odd jobs for people and often picked myrtle for landscaping projects.  He will also be deeply missed by his beloved dog, Lucky.  Family and friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc.
