Ronald J. Potonic, Sr.

POTONIC, RONALD J., SR., 76, Northern Cambria, passed away May 23, 2023, at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville.  Born August August 31, 1946, in Spangler, the son of Joseph and Jean (Kusper) Potonic.  Preceded in death by parents, loving wife, Sandra (Auton) Potonic who died July 29, 2022; daughter-in-law, Sheri Potonic, brothers-in-law, Sean Leahy, and William Stock.  Survived by son, Ronald Potonic Jr., Hastings; daughters; Samantha (Paul) Miller, Westover; and Lynn Potonic, Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Taylor, Lauren, Darrien and great-grandchildren, Adriana, and Adalynn.  Also survived by sisters, Joyce Potonic, Janet (Richard) Sharbaugh, Mary Kay Stock and Lucille Marcuzzo and numerous nieces and nephews.  Formerly employed at Bethlehem Steel as a coalminer.  Ron was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather and will be missed dearly by all that knew him.  There will be no public viewing or visitation.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of all arrangements.
