Ronald "Grizz" D. Roland

ROLAND, RONALD D., “Grizz”, 72, Westover, passed away January 6, 2022, at Miners Medical Center, Hastings.  Born October 23, 1949, in Spangler, the son of Dwayn and Mary (Rorabaugh) Roland.  Preceded in death by parents, and brother, William Roland.  Survived by loving wife of 28 years, Melanie (Dallape) Roland; daughter, Caitlin Roland, Westover; sister, Marian Rishel, Curwensville; and brother, Gary Roland, Front Royal, VA.  Also numerous nieces and nephews. US Army veteran.  Ron was a life member of NRA.  He loved to hunt, go four-wheeling, and cooking.  Friends will be received from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Where service’s will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.  Celebrant Gary McGarvey.  Military honor by local veteran’s organization.  Interment, East Ridge Cemetery.
