LIEB, ROSE MARIE, 99, Nicktown, passed away November 26, 2020, at home. Born September 4, 1921, in Hastings, the daughter of Victor and Rose (Holtz) Kline. Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Herman J. Lieb, who died November 21, 2007; brothers, Louis, Regis, Richard “Dick”, Aurelius “Hon”, William “Bill”, and infant brother, Joseph; and sisters, Anna Kanik, Betty Graves and Mildred “Mickey” Rosenhammer. Survived by children, Lois (Raymond E.F.) Weaver, Monroeville; Ralph (Mary Beth) Lieb, Nicktown; Edward “Ed” (Susan) Lieb, Carrolltown; Arlene Shull, Bethel Park; Dolores “Dolly” (Wayne) Templeton, Ebensburg; Dorothy (Mark) O’Donnell, Brackenridge; Alan (Carolyn) Lieb, Carrolltown; Kevin (Carol) Lieb, Nicktown; and Gerard “Jerry” (Nanette) Lieb, Irwin. Her legacy lives on in her 42 grandchildren, 107 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Also survived by her brother, Alfred “Doc” Kline, Hastings. Always a hard worker, Rose Marie worked during WWII sewing parachutes for the military. Together with her loving husband, they raised their family in a home guided by their deep faith in God and worked side by side in the operations of Barr Ridge Farms. Rose Marie was a 4-H leader, enjoyed making wool braided rugs, quilting & embroidering baby quilts and covering hangers. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown and the Altar & Rosary Society. Following a private family viewing, a Funeral Mass for family and friends will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Catholic. Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB, celebrant. Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery.
