GOSS, ROSE M. "Toots", 84, Hillsdale, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, at her home. Born January 12, 1941, in Spangler, the daughter of Francis and Mary (Shonsky) Frederick. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Kenneth E. Goss, who died February 8, 1994; sons-in-laws, Tim Neal and Dave Contorchick; brothers, William, Robert and Gary Frederick; sisters, Margaret Boring and Patricia Myers; granddaughter, Lacy Goss and grandson, Chris Poole. Survived by children, Kenneth Goss (Brenda Poole), Glen Campbell, Chris Contorchick, Elmora; Barbara (Ken) Huey, Cherry Tree; Dennis (Becky) Goss, Rochester Mills; great-grandson, Jett Goss, whom she raised from a very young age; grandchildren, Tim (Deana) Neal; David Contorchick Jr.; Jake Goss; Kayla (Jake) Kavelak; Lexie Huey; Jess (Nick) Graham; Denny (Emily) Goss Jr.; Jed Goss; Tonya (Matt) Kachmarchi; and Trisha Poole; and 18 great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters, Nancy (Dave) Bosar, Gypsy and Mary “Fuzzy” (Chuck) Fabert, Elmora. Rose worked as a coal miner for Barnes & Tucker Mine 24 B and previously at the shirt factory. At home she loved cooking, especially making pierogies, gardening and spending time with her family. Honoring her wishes there will be no visitation or services. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to cover expenses.
