Russell Robert Stiffler

STIFFLER, RUSSELL R.,102, Seward, formerly of Strongstown, passed away July 2, 2025, at Hollidaysburg Veteran Home.  Born March 14, 1923, in Strongstown, the son of Clell and Rachel Mildred (Paul) Stiffler.  Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Jane Ruth (Coy) Stiffler, who died in 2022; daughter, Juna Stiffler; son, Russel Stiffler; brother, Roy Stiffler; and stepsiblings, Walter Randolph and Marie Walls.  US Army Veteran of WWII and member of Indiana VFW Post 1989.    Retired steelworker spending many years at Levinson Steel Co., Pittsburgh and member of Local 527 Steelworkers Union.  Also worked many years in the coal mines.  Private services with military honors were held July 28, 2025, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Interment, McDowell Cemetery.
