Sandra L. Mentzer-Ferensic

MENTZER-FERENSIC, SANDRA L., 72, Northern Cambria passed away December 28, 2025.  Born November 4, 1953, in Spangler, the daughter of Martin and Elsie Louise (Daniel) Mentzer.  Preceded in death by parents and husband, Robert “Hefty” Ferensic and son, Rick, who was adopted out at birth, fortunately they were reunited 39 years later, though they only had a few months together before his passing, her beloved feline companions, Hoppy, Peanut, Cookie, Peachy, Precious, Moon, WooWoo, Sweet Pea, Wee One and Ming Ming, each of whom held a special place in her heart and brought immeasurable, comfort, joy, and unconditional love.  Survived by faithful feline companion, Dusty, who remained by her side and continues to be a living reminder of the deep compassion, devotion, and love Sandra shared with all her cherished animals.  She will be remembered for the heartfelt charity she showed her husband and fur babies, the meaningful connection she made with her son, and her one of a kind true heart of gold.  Sandra worked as an Outreach Specialist for ELECT Pregnant and Parenting Teen Program.  Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Northern Cambria.  Honoring Sandra’s request, there will be no viewing or services.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria handling all arrangements.
