Shawn J. Slavicsky

SLAVICSKY, SHAWN, 52, Northern Cambria, passed away September 19, 2021, at UPMC Altoona.  Born May 29, 1969, in Spangler, the son of Joseph and Patricia (Eger) Slavicsky.  Preceded in death by his mother.  Survived by his father and his brother, Alan Slavicsky, both of St. Benedict, PA.  He was employed by the Area Agency on Aging, Cambria County.  Shawn was a U.S. Army Veteran.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin hunting with his metal detector, to gun raffles and spending time with his family and his friends.  He will be deeply missed by all who had the chance to know him.  At his request, services will be private.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
