Terrence "Terry" A. Bills

BILLS, TERRENCE ALLEN “Terry”, 72, Carrolltown, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025.  Born September 7, 1953, the son of Richard and Eileen (Owens) Bills of St. Benedict.  Terry was one of eight brothers and sisters.  He leaves behind the love of his life, Suzanne M. Bills.  Six months after meeting, they married and most recently celebrated 51 years of marriage.  A loving father to Kara Bills Lee, Corinne (Gary) Smith, Kyle (Courtney) Bills, and Tessa (Derek) Dellinger, and his beloved grandson Marcus, who he raised as his own.  Along with his other grandchildren, Kahrae, Javontaé, Korri, Lennix and Laiyah who will miss him dearly.  Terry instilled the love of sports in his family and officiated basketball, football, and volleyball.  His educational background in health and physical education shined through, while he had the privilege to coach all his children/grandson in basketball, track and field, and softball/baseball.  Terry was always present through both high school and college games of his children.  He encouraged and yelled pointers from the stands only after sounding that distinct whistle of his.  Terry never missed one of his grandson Marcus’s collegiate basketball games, traveling near and far to support him.  Terry was a strong believer that life begins at conception and ends with a natural death.  His Catholic faith also led him to instruct CCD for many years after retiring from a 20-year teaching career.  He was a true educator at heart and was willing to help anyone, even when they didn’t ask.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rick and Amy Cence, Kristin Burrows, Rick Springer and Donald Strong for their kindness and support.  The family also deeply appreciates all the cards and prayers received during this time.  Family and friends are invited a funeral mass which will be celebrated at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown, on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.  Fr.
