Theresa A. (Kopera) Baker

BAKER, THERESA A., 77, Patton, passed away December 21, 2023, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  Born July 25, 1946, in Spangler, the daughter of Joseph and Susan (Tabatcher) Kopera.  Preceded in death by parents; brother, Richard Kopera and sisters, Agnes Abel, Joanne Witt, and Susan Smith.  Survived by loving husband of 58 years, Germaine Baker; sons, Joseph Baker, Patton; Germaine “Jerry” Baker and wife Teresa “Tess”, Northern Cambria; Jason Baker and wife Lisa, Hastings; and daughter, Justine, wife of Brian Lefebure, Nicktown; grandchildren Curtis Baker, Pamela Kranik, Jason Baker Jr., Kaitlyn Lefebure, Taylor Lefebure, and ten great-grandchildren.  Also survived by her sister, Mary Lou (Fred) McMurray and brother, Joseph Kopera, both of Hastings.  Theresa was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved baking for her family, crocheting and spending time with the grandchildren.  She also enjoyed trips to casinos and playing slot machines.  Family and friends will be received from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where a service will be held at 7:00 p.m.  Fr. Andriy Kelt officiating.
