Theresa Lynn Beckel

BECKEL, THERESA LYNN, 53, Northern Cambria, passed away November 18, 2024, at the home of a friend.  Born April 3, 1971, in Butler.  Preceded in death by father, George Melvin Elder Jr.  Survived by mother, Joanne (Bowser), wife of Jerry Patterson, Commodore; husband, Patrick Beckel Jr., Northern Cambria; daughter, Angela Renee Oswalt (Eddie Braxton IV), Indiana; son, Gabriel Michael Padgett, Commodore; grandchildren, Remington and Abigail Oswalt.  Also survived by siblings, William McCurdy and Todd McCurdy, both of Butler; Debbra Ryan, Homer City; John “Jack” Goodman, Merridian, PA; George “Bud” Elder III, Homer City; George M. Elder IV, Millan, MI; and Amanda Farabaugh, Gypsy.  Theresa worked as a private duty health aid.  She attended Garman Church of God.  In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, camping with her son and husband, her pet rabbits and cats, and spending time with her family.  She enjoyed her work caring for others, especially the elderly.  Family and friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Interment, McDowell Cemetery.
