Thomas Loscar Obituary

LOSCAR, THOMAS O., 63, Cherry Tree, passed away March 24, 2022.  Born January 24, 1959, in Indiana, son of Mary Jane (Gromley) and Leo B. Loscar.  Preceded in death by parents; stepfather, Robert H. Long; and brother, Keith Loscar.  Survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Long) Loscar, Cherry Tree; sons, Thomas (Alanis) Loscar Jr., VA; Kenneth (Heather) Loscar, NJ; stepdaughters, Teresa Gibbons, Cookport and Rebecca Gibbons and stepson, Allen Lydic, both of Cherry Tree.  Brother of Vickie (Everett) Turner, Cindy (Garry) Hanners, and Robert H. Long, all of NJ; Kimberly Loscar, Kevin Loscar, and Karl (Linda) Loscar, all of WV; also, fourteen grandchildren.  Survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Tom moved to New Jersey as a young child, where he was raised by his mother and stepfather.  He was a 1977 graduate from Millville Sr. High School, New Jersey.  Employed as a commercial crabber and fisherman in the South Jersey area, as well as a Powder Coater for Progressive Powder Coating, and a laborer at Wheaton’s Glass Factory.   Tom loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and extended family.  He enjoyed listening to and singing music, his favorite being country music, spending quality time on his computer communicating with his friends and family and listening to music.  Any time you saw him he was busy taking on projects in his home.  Honoring Tom’s request, there will be no public viewing or service.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
