Thomas J. Shimko

SHIMKO, THOMAS J., 67, Nicktown, passed away March 20, 2022, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  Born February 18, 1955, in Spangler, the son of Joseph and Mary Lou (Soisson) Shimko.  Preceded in death by parents and brother Dave Shimko.  Survived by daughters, Lucy Calahan, Keller, TX; and Nina Shimko, St. Benedict; sisters, Cindy (Bill) Eline, Latrobe; Diane (Dan) Yeckley, Hummelstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Also survived by former wife, Renee (Falduto) Kutchman, St. Benedict.  Retired salesman and delivery person for several automotive businesses.  Family and friends will be received at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc, Northern Cambria on Friday, April 1, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m.  Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB, PhD officiating.  Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery.
