Timothy Marshall

MARSHALL, TIMOTHY,  66, Northern Cambria, passed away  May 2, 2023, at James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona.  Born June 1, 1956, in Spangler, the son of Frank and Lois (Farabaugh) Marshall.  Preceded in death by father,and brother, Richard Marshall.  Survived by mother, of Northern Cambria; siblings, David Marshall; Donna (John) Kupetz, Edward (Carol) Marshall, and Dennis (Nancy) Marshall, all of Northern Cambria; sister-in-law, Karen Marshall, Chambersburg; and grandson, Ely.  1974 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School.  US Army Veteran and member of Spangler American Legion Post 569.  Formerly employed in the maintenance department of Sheetz Corporation, as a line inspector for AT&T, and a Bolter Operator for Barnes & Tucker.  Tim was a member of Spangler Dog Training Area where he enjoyed spending his free time with his many friends there.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and trips to camp with Tom Mitchell.  Also a member of Bakerton Athletic Club and Bakerton Rod & Gun Club.   Family and friends will be received Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 12 noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Military honors by local veterans’ organizations.  The Marshall family wishes to thank the VA Hospice nurses and staff for their excellent care and support through Tim’s illness.
