Virginia was happiest in her role as wife, mother, and grandmother who loved being surrounded by her large family. In her free time, she could always be found crocheting new items, many of which are family treasures, she estimated that she made 250 afghans alone! She took great pleasure in gardening and loved flowers of all kinds. She enjoyed entering these items at the Harmony Fair and won too many ribbons to count. A wonderful cook and baker, she enjoyed canning and making her exceptional apple pies, which she proudly entered in the competitions at the Harmony Fair each fall where she earned many ribbons, include a First Place Blue Ribbon at the Pennsylvania State Fair. Virginia loved to share her flowers with her treasured hummingbirds which she anxiously awaited each spring. Virginia had a large and continually growing collection of beautiful angels, many of which were gifts from her adoring family. Her greatest love was her family, especially the babies. She was affectionally known as Baba to her adoring grands. She will be deeply missed by all.
