Wanda L (Cook) Kline

KLINE, WANDA LEE, 71, Hastings, passed away June 16, 2024, at home.  Born July 27, 1952, in Erie, the daughter of Cecil and Betty (Maines) Cook.  Preceded in death by parents, and loving husband, Kenneth Kline, who died August 22, 2006.  Survived by sons, Joshua Kline, Hastings; Nathan (Sara) Kline, Ashville; Neil (Betsy) Kline, Hastings; grandchildren, Sophia and Noah; and sister, Robin (Shawn) McDowell.   Wanda was a very caring person by nature and enjoyed her work as a registered nurse caring for others for years in the hospital and later doing private duty and home health. She had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Assemblies of God Church for 42 years, where she fully participated in church activities had many life-long friends.  She was a favorite teacher for Sunday School and children’s activities at the church and was also happy to help with any of the church ministries.  Her working career began at Barnesboro Shirt Factory, but it was through her church ministries her nursing career sprouted. She enjoyed being active in the local community and helping people.  She enjoyed horseback riding and was skilled at breaking horses so they could be ridden and enjoyed by family.  She was also an active member of the Senior Citizens Organization.  Above all she was devoted to her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was the center of all family affairs, including summer camping trips to Blue Diamond and vacations to the beach.  At home she cared for the family pets and spent time creating beautiful flower gardens. Family and friends will be received from 1:00 p.m.  until time of service at 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Pastors Thomas Manning and Fred Catchpole officiating.  Committal, East Ridge Cemetery.
