NEALEN, WILLIAM F., 93, Nicktown, passed away May 31, 2026, at home. Born January 12, 1933, in Spangler, the son of the late William H. and Helen P. (Marsh) Nealen. Preceded in death by brother, James Nealen. Survived by loving wife of 64 years, Gloria A. (Kirsch) Nealen; children, William B. Nealen, Nicktown; Sandra L. (John) Amory, New Jersey; Gregory L. (Janelle) Nealen, Nicktown; Daniel R. (Yvonne) Nealen, Pittsburgh; and Thomas (Tina) Nealen, East Freedom; ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Donald (Arlene) Nealen, Cleveland and sister-in-law, Della Nealen, New Jersey. Bill dedicated 29 years of his life to education, retiring as a mathematics teacher after serving at several schools throughout the area. He had a gift for numbers and a steady, patient way of helping students learn, leaving a lasting impression on many over the years. A longtime member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Nicktown, Bill was also a member of Moose International, the National Rifle Association (NRA), Fraternal Order of Eagles, Kane Aerie #307, and the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR). Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 8, 2026, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Nicktown. Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB, PhD celebrant. Committal St. Nicholas Cemetery.
