Brian Moriconi

Brian Moriconi

Brian is a life resident of the Northern Cambria area and graduate of Northern Cambria High School. He completed his preliminary education at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with concentrations in biology and chemistry. He is a 1985 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. After completing an internship of one year in the funeral service industry he completed the state board exams and has been licensed since 1987. 

Additional educational background includes certification by the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine to perform eye enucleation for the purpose of cornea retrieval and transplant. Eye enucleations are done within the hospital setting for individuals who are organ donors. Organ donations are coordinated by ( CORE) the Center for Organ Recovery Education. Brian is also a Paramedic licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Certified by the Commonwealth of PA, Office of the Attorney General Coroner’s Education Board, completing Coroner’s Basic Education and Examination. He works for the Cambria County Coroner’s Office as a Deputy Coroner with 30+ years service. 

Brian has been married to the former Cynthia L. Baker since 1986 and they have a son, Nicholas, a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and a teenage daughter, Allison.
